Medicines for Parkinson’s Disease
The major classes of anti-Parkinson medication include carbidopa-levodopa (often referred to as Sinemet), catechol-o-methyltransferase inhibitors or COMT inhibitors, monoamine oxidase type B inhibitors, dopamine agonists, amantadine, and anticholinergics.
